Below is information about our “Getting Back into Business Meeting”, auditions, important dates, tech build dates and what this show is about. Our first gathering of the year! Come learn about the theatre program, how auditions work at Champlin Park work and meet (or reunite) with fellow thespians! This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in participating in theatre this year!

Friday, September 18th - Vocal Callbacks (Cast List posted after)
Monday, September 21st - First Rehearsal
Tuesday, September 29th 6:00pm - Mandatory Parent Meeting
Tech Week - Oct 31st-November 5th
Performances - November 6th- 8th and 13th- 15th (Friday and Saturday Performances at 7:00 pm, Sunday Performances at 2:00 pm)
Orchestra Pit Audition Information
Video uploads are due Tuesday, September 15th!
For those who wish to audition for the Orchestra Pit-
Please follow the link to the google classroom and upload a video of you playing through the overture. In the classroom you will find sheet music and Spotify links to the music
You may play along with the Spotify recording, or on your own. If you want to take it a little slower to be clean, that is just fine.
If there are multiple parts (Trumpet 1&2) choose whatever one you are most comfortable with, and we will consider you for both parts.
For Reed Players, if you are able to try any instrument switching, most of that is in the reed 3 part, so show that off if you can! Otherwise play whatever you can on your instrument that is in those 3 reed parts.
Tech Crew Information
About Tech Crew-
If you are interested in being apart of Tech Crew, please fill out an interest form!
Tech Crew is a vital part of all of our productions. This is the team that builds and paints the set. Some members will also help with costumes. You do not need experience in any of these areas to help out. Parents are also invited to come help.
During Tech Week, this crew will transition into working backstage in various roles such as- Spotlight Operator, Run Crew, Wardrobe Crew, Lightboard Operator and more. These roles will be assigned based on attendance, interest and experience.
