Marcellus Washburn- Works at the River City Livery Stable and is an old friend of Harold’s who he still calls Greg. Marcellus helps Harold Hill in his scheme and is also dating Ethel Toffelmeir.
Tommy Djilas- Labeled as the town “wild” because of his parentage and antics like setting off fireworks at the towns 4th of July gathering. He finds a mentor in Harold Hill. He is also interested in the mayor’s daughter Zaneeta Shinn who he has been told to stay away from by her father.
Zaneeta Shinn- The peppy oldest teenage daughter of Mayor Shinn. Her catchphrase is “Egods!”. She is very interested in Tommy but tries to hide it from her father.
Gracie Shinn- The younger daughter of Mayor Shinn, who seems to be a bit of a tattle-tale. Excited about the instruments coming on the Wells Fargo wagon.
The Quartet- Comprised of Ewart Dunlop(T2), Oliver Hix(B1), Jacey Squires(T1), and Olin Britt (B2). Local Business owners that make up the school board. They have been tasked with acquiring the credentials of Harold Hill. However, they keep getting sidetracked by their newfound group identity as a barbershop quartet.
